T's BHP's

Below are some pic's of my current and previous Black Headed Python projects, as well as other reptiles I have had over the years. One special project consists of 4 adult BHP's obtained from Neil Sonnemann. This was Neils last project before he retired from breeding BHP's. They are numbers 460(male), 461(male), 449(female) and 452(female). All four animals have an Axanthic father and a Calico mother, so are 100% het for Axanthic and may also carry the Calico gene. All four carry excellent genetics and in particular male 461. He has a strong white background colour with thin dark banding and is the father of the animal used in Neils advertising logo. Male 460 is very light in colour (almost Hypo).

The BHP eggs are very large compared to other pythons. This pic has a 600ml of water for comparison.

735 was the first to lay for this season. 10 eggs in total. It was her first year of breeding so good effort.

This is the first pairing for this year. Female 735 is a very nice pinstripe Axanthic paired with male 461 100% het Axanthic/Calico.

A nice female Axanthic hatchling that also carries the Calico gene.

However nothing is ever normal at T's BHP's and even though this hatchling looks normal, it is Het for Axanthic and comes from a Calico line.
